Well, Christmas is over, we had a nice Christmas and on Christmas my Grandma Bredell, who was 90 years old went to be with our Lord. We have so many great memories of her and know that she is now in her eternal home. This week we have funeral arrangements Monday and Tuesday, my brother and his wife fly in Monday morning and we still have to have Christmas with my family Wednesday night. We spent Christmas Eve as a family watching Christmas movies and opening gifts. We woke up Christmas morning and had Hot Cocoa and Cinnamon Rolls, opened stockings and headed off to Joel's family for the day. His sister and her family are here until Wednesday so it was really nice to see them. Kylie loves her cousins!

Big News!
Kylie is going to be a big sister! We are due May 30. I had 2 ultrasounds so far and we've heard the baby's heartbeat twice already! It is holding steady in the 160's. I will be 10 wekks along Sunday and am starting to feel better and not so nauseous! My Dr said if I go full term, she will schedule my C-Section for May 24, so I guess I will be having my birthday in the hospital! :) We are very excited and so is Kylie-she likes to kiss my belly already.

Fall!
We have been busy, I worked 45 hours last week and had a much needed day off today! I took Kylie to Klackle's with my friend Sara and her baby Mason. We had so much fun! We took the Tractor ride to pick Apples and Pumpkins, Kylie kept eating the apples right off the tree! We also enjoyed donuts and cider..mmm! Here are some highlights from our trip!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KYLIE!
Where does the time go? It just feels like yesterday I was holding my sweet baby girl in my arms and now she picks out her own shoes in the morning. Our Kylie is TWO today! We had such a fun day, I tried to do all of her favorite things. She got to pick out a donut at the donut shop, of course she picked out the one with the most frosting and sprinkles and then ate the frosting off and left the donut, that's my girl! Then we went to the Children's Museum with my mom and she loved exploring there. Then it was off to Culver's for a hot dog and icecream! Then tonight we had our family over for cake and icecream. She got spoiled with presents and after every time she opened something she would say "OPEN IT?" She'll have a lot of fun in the next couple days playing with all her new toys. She had a "Nemo and Dorie" cake and was intrigued by everyone singing Happy Birthday to her. She is now finally in bed, I think 9:30 is pretty good taking in that much sugar today!

Bellaire/Charlevoix
We have been busy! We took a little get-away up north with Joel's family this past weekend. His mom rented a house for a week in Bellaire, Shanty Creek. It was so nice! His sister and brother-in-law came with their kids from South Dakota, it was so nice to visit and relax. We then headed to Charlevoix on Saturday, just us 3, and stayed at my cousin Carrie's cottage on Lake Michigan. The best sound to fall asleep to is waves crashing, we didn't want to come home! We had dinner in Charlevoix and got taffy and fudge, it was great family time! Now it's back to reality. My grandma is in the hospital, Joel's grandpa had brain surgery, his sister had heart surgery and 2 of our friend's had babies! We have been at the hospital making the rounds! This weekend it is our 6 year Anniversary and then it's Kylie's 2nd Birthday next week! Busy, but good.

Summer Lovin'
We have had lots of fun this summer! Kylie went to Binder Park Zoo with my mom and Aunt Kolbey and Uncle Dan, we went my Aunt's boat in Whitehall, we have had ballgames of Joel's, went to IKEA, repainted the outside of our house (in process), we've been to Silver Lake, pools and bbq's, took Kylie to the fair, and next weekend we are going to a cottage Joel's mom rented in Bellaire, MI. We loved seeing Uncle Dan and Aunt Kolbey and now we get to see Aunt Jenny, Mike, Jude and Peter! Here are some pics from the past couple weeks!
