I hope you had a Merry Christmas! I know we did! On Christmas Eve, we spent the evening at the Mulders, playing games and opening gifts. Then, Christmas morning we made a big breakfast, opened gifts, went sledding-just us 3, it was so relaxing! Then we were off to my side for Christmas in the evening. More games, presents and food! and we got to see Dan, who is home from Cali. We have had such an enjoyable Christmas and we are so blessed!

Snow Days
It's snowing like mad here! Thankfully, Joel has a truck and he can get us around everywhere. It did take him 3 hours to snow blow ours and the neighbor's driveways yesterday!
I couldn't even get my car out! We had a busy weekend, with Christmas Parties and this week will be even crazier, but fun! Joel has been snowmobiling around and I baked all day today, as church was cancelled. We are happy with my brother Dan, as he proposed to his girlfriend Kolbey this weekend. They are getting married in June, so we are going to be DRIVING to California for a wedding! We are going to make a good week's vacation out of it though...Kylie is feeling better and I had to go back to the Dr. on Friday-they put me on Keflex for a staff infection and now both of my feet have turned purplish and have red sores on them (gross, I know). The Dr. said I have chilblains, which I've had before. It's quite painful, if they don't go away I'll go see a foot specialist. Kylie met Wilson for the first time (Sarah and Jay's puppy) and we had my work party this weekend (Picture above) Christmas pics to come!

Comfort Food
So I promise you I will not blog twice a day like this usually, but I have so much to say right now! I made the best dinner tonight and it was so easy! So I thought I'd share it with all you mom's and women out there who run out of idea's like me!
White Chicken Chili: (I made this up so I don't have exact measurements)
2 cups approx. cubed, cooked chicken
8-10 oz. salsa
1 bag Monterey jack cheese
1 can red kidney beans
1 large can white northern beans
1 can chicken broth
cumin, salt, pepper to taste
Mix all together, let simmer for about 20 min. and enjoy!
Cheesy Biscuits:
1 pack Bountiful Beer Bread from Tastefully simple
1 Tbsp. Garlic Garlic from Tastefully simple
1 stick softened butter
1 cup milk
1 cup shredded cheese
Preheat oven to 400. Mix all ingrediants together and for into balls and put them on cookie sheet.

Antibiotics anyone?
My baby girl is always sick and I'm sick of it! She has had 4 infections in one month and right now she has MRSA again! I had to go to the Dr. too on Monday and they tested me for it too (I get the results back today). I just feel so bad for her! I got her medical records from her Dr. just to have, and they were 46 pages, that's not right! Anyway, we praise God that she just gets infections and not anything more serious! She is on another antibiotic (ugh) and hopefully her spots go away soon! The Dr started her on a vitamin supplement and I cleaned every toy she owns! Hoping for a healthy Christmas! Here's a pic of her and mommy by our Christmas Tree!

My new Blog
Hey everyone, I finally decided to start blogging...so you can keep tabs on me! I had an old blog on Xanga but never use it anymore. Life is pretty hectic right now, but I love every minute of it! Kylie is 15 months old and into EVERYTHING! She is such a sweetheart though! She tries to repeat what you say, likes to hide things (including my car keys!) and she is so intrigued with every new day! Work is busy right now and we're thankful that Joel is still working in Lansing in this cold weather! We're gearing up for the holidays. I think we have 8 Christmas parties and 1 more wedding to go..ugh! It hardly sounds relaxing! However, I am looking forward to my brother coming in from Cali and my sister-in-law having her baby in Jan! Happy Blogging!
