It's 13 degrees today, why do we live in Michigan again? :) Anyways, it's been a while since I last updated and a lot has happened. We found out we were expecting again, it was a big surprise, at the end of November. Then in December, 2 weeks before Christmas, God took our baby home with him, the baby had died at 8 weeks and I was 9 weeks along. It was very hard for us to understand why and why God was doing this. He has plans for us and we have to trust in him. I still have my sad days but know that we will see our baby in heaven one day. I had to have 2 d and c's, the second one 2 days before Chrismas Eve, had some complications with my bleeding disorder and them not getting it all the first time. I am now feeling better and back to myself. I pray that we can get pregnant again and everything goes fine if God blesses us with that. In other news, the girls have been enjoying the snow, being at both Grandma's and "working" in the basement with Daddy. Kylie likes to "fix things" with the screwdriver, oh dear. Brynn is a happy little girl and sitting up, moving everywhere and shaking her head "No" She loves to eat anything (including paper) in sight. We love our two little munchkins. We got a mini-van, oh yeah soccer mom :) and loved seeing all of our family at Christmas Time. Joel is making big progress in the basement really finishing it this time :) as he is laid off for a short time now. That's all for now, blessings!!!

Vitamins?
Ok, so I have so much to say, I have to do 2 posts in the same day. We have been sick around here for the past month, and it's not even winter yet! We all take vitamins and I stocked up on Acidopholis and Immune boosters for Kylie. Kylie and Brynn have both had croup and ear infections, and I am finally getting over Bronchitus. I hope this isn't a preview of what's to come :) Any good idea's on vitamins/different immune boosters anyone?

Fall is Beautiful
Well, I couldn't start my new post out with "wow, I am behind" as the header again :) Life always gets away from me and get too busy to post! We have been enjoying our Fall, but it's been a little hard having Joe gone for the past 2 1/2 months. I admire the women out there whose husbands are serving overseas and are gone for 8 months at a time, I shouldn't complain that mine is gone Mon-Thurs every week. The end is in sight though! He should be home for good the end of this week, Praise the Lord! We have been enjoying the weather, going to pumpkin patches, eating apples, seeing friends and family and being outside. Joel loves the cooler weather and loves his duck hunting! I have been making a dent in my scrapbooking and organizing the "rootsoy" as my dad would say in dutch, in the house. (I get in these purging moods!) Got the girls pics done last week and looking forward to getting those back. We took 2 vacations up north in September. One to Traverse City alone for our 7 year Anniversary and 1 to Sleeping Bear Dunes with the kids, both very enjoyable. Out little Kylie turned 3, can't believe it. Brynn is already 5 months and is laughing and rolling over! God has blessed us beyond measure!

Wow, I am behind
I am so behind on my blogging, busy busy busy. We have been enjoying our summer. My brother and his wife were here in June and got to see Brynn, we got to spend lots of quality time with them, and then in July Joel's sister and her family were here. It was so nice to spend Mom M's 50th birthday and Jen's 30th with them! We have been doing projects around the house and although we didn't win the mancave, we continue to make small improvements. Brynn is getting so big, cooing and smiling. Big sister Kylie has been loving the outdoors and cracking us up with the stories and comments she says. We have 3 vacations coming up that we are very excited about. Camping, me and Joel's 7 year anniversary get away to Traverse City and a family vacation to Sleeping Bear Dunes. Joel is going to be putting in a boardwalk along Glen Lake right by the dunes, it looks beautiful up there, can't wait to visit him. He is going to be gone for 6 weeks, on and off, so pray for patience for me working and taking care of my girls! Here are some pics from our summer so far.

Rennovations
We have been busy working on the house and 7 more weeks until the baby comes, or less! We almost have the kitchen finished, Our bedroom is done, Kylie's room is done and the baby room is done! Joel did a great job tiling the backsplash in the kitchen, we had someone put in the countertops and Joel also put in a new hood range. Now we just need new paint and trim and we'll be all finished! I am starting to get uncomfortable, feeling big and can't get comfortable. Kylie had her checkup at the ear Dr and they also did a hearing test, everything checked out good pretty much. They will see if the hole closes on it's own (in her left ear) and if it doesn't they will do surgery to close it when she's a little older. She got fitted for some ear plugs for swimming this summer and we look forward to spring/summer and getting all the germs out of this house :) We are looking forward to expanding our family.

3 More Months!
3 months from today, exactly, God willing we will be holding our new baby! It is flying by for sure, maybe it's because I am chasing a 2 year old around! We have moved Kylie into a big girl bed in her new room, have her sitting in church with us and not in nursery, now we just have to conquer the potty training thing! Some days she goes on the potty 3 times and then the next day she refuses, we'll get there, you can't force em. We have been busy and trying to stay healthy around here! Kylie has been fighting RSV for the past month which has been complicated with asthma, she has a NEB machine she uses and is on her second bout with it :( She also has had croop and an ear infection in there, so we are trying to keep her healthy-I can't wait for Spring! Joel is back to work, which is great, he was only laid off 5 weeks this year! They got a big job in Lansing so hopefully that will start soon. We repainted our bedroom and now the 2 projects we are working on are carpeting the hallway and finishing the kitchen (countertops and backsplash.) Staying busy as always!
